Okay, I'm just learning ZZ EOLine and I can't figure out how to solve this case.
Don't worry about solving the FD and BD cross pieces, just the flipped edges.

Flipped edges at:

UB, UR, and all 4 on the E slice

EDIT: I am looking for a solution without a cube rotation.

Also, does anyone know of (or want to write :D) an application that can generate solutions to the EOLine given a scramble?

Thanks,
Rob

No probs :)

For about 80% of 6-edge cases I put 3x edges into one face and turn to create a 4 edge case. It usually works out more efficient than doing 4, then 2. If you have a 6 edge case with 3 already in one face, just plan as if its a 4-edger because it can be turned into one really easily.

With most EO cases, boiling it down into a 4-edge case is usually really easy. Like for example, many 8-edge cases already have 4-edges in one face, or are maybe 1-move away from that. In these cases try to visualise the 4-edge case you will create, rather than all the bad edges. If you're really comfortable with 4-edge cases then EO should get pretty easy.

I posted a bunch of interesting 4-edge cases here:
http://cube.crider.co.uk/#eo_cases
They pretty much cover the range of 4-edgers you can be left with. Sometimes there are several ways to solve a particular case optimally, which is nice because it gives you more options for the line.

Hope this helps..

Greatly appreciated. I'm loving this method but I think it will take a lot of practice before I can plan the EOLine in inspection, but the prospect of easy F2L and COLL with only edge PLLs is just too good to pass up!
