"I want to start off this review by saying that this is THE BEST 5x5 cube on the market. This cube is very affordable and is half the price of the MoYu HuaChuang. I was very impressed with this cube when i started turning it just out of the box. It comes in a nice box, which you can use to store the cube. The cube comes with even tensions, which can be adjusted on all sides equally, according to your preference. The MoYu 5x5 sucks out of the box, but the Yuxin is competition ready. The stickers on this cube are similar to those on the ThunderClap, very simlar to MoYu but the blue is a bit darker, and the yellow and orange are much better. They contrast and fit great. The outer layers are wider, which help a lot in recognition for edges.
Performance: This cube has a scratchy and smooth feeling. All the layers are equally fast, none is slower or faster then the other. The one problem i had with this cube was that it was a bit too fast and flimsy, but after lubing and setting up, without much effort, this cube is now amazing. You just need to put a bit of lube if this is the case for you. This cube never pops. Never. There are no corner twists or major lock ups. The only downfall is that the cube misaligns pretty easily but if you turn more accurately, this will not be a problem. Again, its a lot better than the MoYu 5x5s at least. The layers turn easily. and the feel is very enjoyable.
Conclusion: Not only is this cube very affordable compared to the MoYu, but it performs a lot better too. It is the best. Go ahead and buy it!"

out of the box, my new main.
previous main was moyu huachuang.

the moyu 5x5's and ss 5x5 had too much locking

this yuxin has no lockups whatsoever. i have not tensioned it, i have put 3 drops of maru in it but that was last saturday.
raw turning speed is fast and it's just great.

i bought it from speedcube.com.au vendor at aus nats 2015 on 3/oct/15

update: as of 21 nov 2015 i have loosened it because it felt bad. tried it, too locky. i got used to the locking but then i just got frustrated by the locking seconds later. I lubed it again and tightened it and it felt amazing again.

Got my stickerless one today and I love it. The Huachuang is being retired. The only downside is the colour scheme. I'm not keen on the green but I can live with it. The main issue is my one year old son loves it so I don't get to solve in front of him.

It's my new main, I feel kinda bad for my Cyclone Boys though since I only had it a week or two before it got dropped as my main lol.

Thoughts on the puzzle: The best cube ever made....or the best twisty puzzle on planet earth!!

I love stickerless cubes, but the color scheme on this one looks really really terrible. I'm looking at the pictures on thecubicle.us, and to me it seems the orange / red are very similar. Is this the case, or is it just in pictures? I'd appreciate it if somebody could post some pictures of the stickerless in various states: solved, checkers, scrambled etc.

Thanks!
