This is because records broken in China are recorded on cubing China, not WCA live

I've been waiting for this record since Antoine Cantin dropped this video in March of 2024. Xuanyi is also currently outperforming Yiheng not only in this competition but in recent ones too if you pay attention to moving average.

Just my general assumption that improvement slows down as you get older, even for 12 year olds. And someone that's 2/3 his age is already improving at a faster rate. I'd be happy if Yiheng and Xuanyi have a rivalry that lasts for years though, that would be great to watch.

So, I took a look to his 3x3 results and I found 62 DNF solves and 9 DNF Ao5 over 92 competitions! It's unbelievable!


Maybe is not about inconsistency but he is a cuber who take a lot (too much) risks in his solves (?)
