X-Cube parity?

I have an x-cube, and I thought I encountered a parity, where the whole thing was solved except the last layer, which had a PLL parity. It had 2 "solid bars" and sets of headlights". I took it apart the previous night, but the chances of me putting it together wrong, not noticing, and then showing it to a friend without noticing it was wrong are very slim. I did not notice any parities in it before scrambling it and trying to solve it. If I try to search for x-cube parties, all I get is parities for super 3x3x5's. Has anyone else ever gotten a parity on an x-cube? if so, how do you solve one.
