I bought the X-Cube and the X-Cube Master this week and really have been having fun with them. It's a great puzzle plus it has a good feel to it. Really solid and chunky.
I liked the X-Cube so much I ordered two more as back ups (just in case) something happens to the one I'm using. They don't seem to be really mass produced and I wonder if they'll still be available years down the road.
There seems to be a company named Calvin making something like it, and a tower cube, but the reviews say it's a really fragile and not very good. The X-Cube I got is from Moving Parts (on amazon) and it's been very durable so far.
They're less than $20. if anyone is interested. The X-Cube is a really fun solve. Sort of like a 3x3 and a 5x5,.. with some weird shape shifting as well.
I'm surprised Rubiks hasn't made one yet. It really has that solid, chunky, plastic "Rubiks" feel to it.
