I bought the X-Cube and the X-Cube Master this week and really have been having fun with them. It's a great puzzle plus it has a good feel to it. Really solid and chunky.

I liked the X-Cube so much I ordered two more as back ups (just in case) something happens to the one I'm using. They don't seem to be really mass produced and I wonder if they'll still be available years down the road.

There seems to be a company named Calvin making something like it, and a tower cube, but the reviews say it's a really fragile and not very good. The X-Cube I got is from Moving Parts (on amazon) and it's been very durable so far.

They're less than $20. if anyone is interested. The X-Cube is a really fun solve. Sort of like a 3x3 and a 5x5,.. with some weird shape shifting as well.

I'm surprised Rubiks hasn't made one yet. It really has that solid, chunky, plastic "Rubiks" feel to it.

yeah that's why I got them. I was just curious and never really saw them mentioned before. Turns out they're a lot of fun. I'm really enjoying them.

..I say "them", I'm enjoying the X-Cube, I haven't made my way to the Master one just yet. Still trying to learn and memorize the last layer algs for the X-Cube.

They're cheap though, I forget the price but they were around $15. each. I've enjoyed the X-Cube enough I ordered a couple more as spares last night and thought I should post a PSA here for other puzzle fans since the price seems so good on these. The Cubicle says they're discontinued so I guess once they're gone they're gone.

I honestly don't know why I haven't seen people talk about these puzzles. And there's really only a small handful of them on YouTube.

Because they're quite old. They've been around for years so wouldn't be actively discussed.

this is the one I was interested in but the reviews say the quality is not good.. still tempted to get it though out of sheer curiousity.

I haven't tried the Calvin 3x3x5. I have a bunch of Witeden cuboids, including the 3x3x5, and they're all very good - except one of the large 2x2 ones that would not stay together.
