Why does everyone hate Pogobat's beginner method tutorial?

I personally don't hate the tutorial. It's a great tutorial. I am, however, disappointed in the method used in it.

I don't hate it, but I don't like that he rotates so much the cube when it's unnecessary. He also uses RDR'D' over RUR'U'.
