What happened to the MF8 Legend II Ball core?

I've been looking forward to getting one since they have tiles on the cube instead of stickers and I like the stickered look that the tiles keep. But lately, I haven't been able to find any of the ball core versions, only the normal core. I used the "Where to buy a Cube" thread and most of the links for the MF8 Legend V2 lead to the MF8 Legend V1, which does not use tiles. Does anyone know what has happened to the ball core version of this cube?

The only shipping option for that is china post and they said that in some cases, it can take up to 2 months to reach it's destination.

I don't know what happened to it, however honestly I have to admit it isn't that great. It catches a good bit and can pop pretty easily.

I have found that earlier but the shipping speed kind of steered me away from it.

I know it isn't too great but it's the best tiled cube that I know of. The non-ball core version has torpedos however, would this be enough to stop the easy pops?

I'm pretty sure the non ball core one is better. Neither is great, as you know. But between the two probably the normal core is best.

I want a tiled cube because it's unique. It's stickerless, but yet it looks like a normal cube. And besides, the stickers on my Shuang Ren right now are fine.

I got it from zcube.cn and it's still listed there. It comes with both cores. The ball core has a nice stable feel but unfortunately the cube is catchy, as others have said. A disappointment. Fitting the tiles is a pain due to lots of flash, and I didn't even finish the job since I wouldn't use it for solving.

Buy one in primary with black caps and one in black with primary caps and switch the caps. Or just use full sized stickers to cover up the black on a primary with black caps.

From what I know, championcubestore, lightake, and the cubicle are the only stores carrying them.

Personally, I bought from Lightake once and my DIY Zhanchi came with some missing hardware. 30 support messages and 3 mo's later, I still didn't get any replacements. Ended up getting hardware form the cubicle - great customer service. :tu
If you buy from Lightake, I'd suggest getting assembled products only and the shipment tracking just as a precaution.
