I need a refresher, what’s the difference between nats and NAC?

from what i understand:
nats = USA Nationals
NAC = North American Championships

idk tbh nats is for only the USA country and NAC is for the North American Continent ig

A CubingUSA representative interview during world’s stream confirmed that the US did not make a bid for NAC.

Is it because a country cannot be repeated in consecutive continental championship cycle?

This couldn’t be the case as South Africa has held consecutive African champs before.

yeah organizing comps is way harder than people think. Combine that with daily life tasks and time for other things and you will already be a very busy person. Organizers here are still even studying for college and organizing competitions at the same time.

It’s a hypothetical question, if Canada did make a bid then this would be obsolete, however if Canada did not make a bid then this would be in question.

That wasn't really small lmao, it was just because of covid restrictions and other reasons the competition couldnt be that big
There were also less cubers in 2022 as well

Even then Canada put a bid to hold it
