I can only convey emails from V-cube which pointed to their desire to release one cube per year. From a collector's and cuber's point of view I am eagerly anticipating the V-Cube 3. Why? Right or wrong, I have appreciated the comparitive quality of the V-Cube 2 and the V-Cube 5 to their market rivals. Hopefully the V-Cube 2s have been successful enough for Verdes Innovations to push forth with V-Cube 3 and 4 development. The market is flooded with so many quality cubes that they would need to make sure the quality of these products was great. Future releases may hinge on the reputation of each new cube. After all, they're a business, not necessarily a benevolent not-for profit organisation. Quality (perceived or legitimate) takes time.
