When did Feliks Zemdegs get Sub 30/40?

I have been cubing since October last year. I'm finally getting sub 20 averages now.

I did jump in hard with learning full PLL and full OLL pretty quickly. I think it was worth it in the long run.

Alright, I guess I worded it wrong... I meant to get a sub 15 avg, of which I only do average of 5s.
You can say I'm sub-20 (or sub-16 to be fussy) until I record an average of 100.
Like ignore what I said about sub-15.

2 days ago you posted a sub15 avg5 video; you can't average sub16 and only have a 14.45 avg5.

OK okay I get it, I wasn't trying to sound cool, honestly, I was meant to say when I got my first sub-15 average. So let's stop the hating(or whatever you call it) alright?
Gosh, now even I'm confused. I'll do an average when I have the time.

For now, just ignore that post completely. I think that's the only way to stop this pointless bickering.

I agree, you guys need to chill out with the hating. I know that you are bored, but don't be jerks to a guy who is simply trying to help someone out.

It took me 75 days or so to get sub-20, 6 months to get my first sub-15 ao15 and here I am.

I practiced about 100 solves a day for those first 75 days, and then went on without much consistency.

Everyone progresses at different paces. Don't wear yourself out trying to be like Faz. 0_0

I was going to say the same thing. Everyone has different learning curves. As long as you practice a lot and are having fun, you're still going to impress many of the noncubers just by being able to solve it in the first place.

Getting sub 30 after 1 few weeks of cubing is not all that rare is it...?

I came up with my own method after a few days of messing with a cube, after a week or so i then learned the Petrus method which got me sub 30, only then did i take the plunge into CFOP which actually took my times up above 40 again so i ditched it in aid of Roux (still my favourite method), which had me sub 30 again, since then ive managed sub 20 CFOP

certain people will progress faster, it all depends on their willingness to explore and ultimately learn more about the cube

Nuff said, I Average around the same at the moment, but I dont care for speed (not on 3x3 anywho)

getting sub 30 (even single) after 1 week of cubing is not just rare, it is unheard of
getting sub 30 (even single) after "a few weeks" is still very rare but if "few" means "4" I can believe it

How long did it take you to get sub 30 with Petrus (on average)

I found out Zeliks got sub 20 after 71 days. I can average in the 40's if I force myself to turn as fast as I can consistently though.

Thats a bit harsh. I think its good to aspire to keep up with someone as it pushes you to improve further. @Jorghi Dont worry if you dont keep up with Feliks' progress as he improved at a very fast pace.
Really? That was not my intention. I'm just saying that sometimes trying to progress like other people ends up being worse in the long run.

My new Average. (Used 3 second inspection only):

I'm very un-consistent.. because my last layer sucks. My F2L Average is 15 seconds now though.

I feel like if I fix some of those last layer problems my average will drop down to those low numbers in my solves.
