Anyway, I was doing some ZBLL scrambles after I read this thread. Since EP is so fast I think EP then CLL has potential to be a really good method.

I have the same feeling regarding the majority of my other post...
Do you have (whether memorized or not) good algs for all non-edge-affecting COLLs? I still have a feeling that some cases would suck worse than they already do

Oh sure, they'd be worse - but probably not by much. It's not really a problem when the first step is essentially nothing.
Any cases you think are particularly bad? I think the only ones I don't know all of are the diag cases.

Do you mean for regular non-EP-preserving COLL? Because I don't actually know many EP-preserving ones. This one comes to mind pretty quickly:
