I don't know what topic "speedsolving forum complaint" goes under but Why do all my posts about software and alg generators end up being moved into the one-idea software thread? do I have any choice if I want it moved or not without my permission? I don't want my posts being covered up and put on the last page of a different thread where people are not going to see it and help me out. What can I do here

I can't speak for other people, but at least I read almost all of the new posts in the one-answer question threads except the blindsolving one.

The point of the OAQTs is that questions that don't really spark further discussion, questions that can be answered easily, don't become full threads of their own, with only one or two replies before being ignored for the rest of eternity. The two questions you've posted that were since moved to the software OAQT are exactly of this type. (I don't necessarily agree with this, for what it's worth; the forum software doesn't allow for searching within a thread, even though it has no problem searching among post titles.)

Trust me, people WILL see everything you say on a thread, even if it's crowded.
If you click on the User's name, and the time, it will bring you to the exact post.
I myself go on the one answer threads often to see if I can help other users.

OK, that makes a lot more sense now, in that case I probably shouldn't have got so heated up about it.
