Hi,

I use CFOP to solve the 3x3x3. I'll list what I usually to solve my cube :

I do a cross, the easiest one (any color). I do the cross on U when it's a hard one and on D when it's an easy one. When I do it on U, I need a longer time to figure out my first F2L pair since I need to do a double cube rotation.

Then, I F2L. I found almost all my algs intuitively. There is only 2 cases I don't know yet (pair inserted, edge reverse and corner clockwise or anti-clockwise) 'cause I'm a lazy sissy. Since the big majority of them have been found intuitively, should I look for better algs now?

Then, I 2lookOLL. When I have no edges oriented, I do r U R' U2 R U2 r' U2 r U' r' which kinda sucks, because I don't like going F(RUR'U')F' f(RUR'U')f' which sucks even more. I know about 15 full OLL so in some cases, I can go much faster on this step.

I look ahead doing OLL to see what PLL I'll have. I know all of them PLLz, I even have different algorithms for most of them, so I can do them from different position. J(a) perm on R or on L for example. Most of my PLL are fast, except for ugly ones like E and the BLOODY N perms (god...I'm so slow on these).

With all that, I got to avg of 23 seconds. My best is 16.08 that I got when I was avg 28 or so. Since then, I got nothing better than my best, but I got lots of 19 seconds and a couple of 18, loads of 20.

My questions are :
-Should I consider working on cross to be able to do less moves, and do it on D?
-Should I learn new f2l algs to replace those I know intuitively?
-Should I learn full OLL?
-What should I do to get to cross in 2look OLL when I have no edges oriented?
-Do you have any N perms that don't suck ballz?
-In what order should I work all the questions on top?

Whoa, always do the cross on D. It'll save you about a second of turning the cube over. It's pretty easy.

-Should I consider working on cross to be able to do less moves, and do it on D?
Yes. Makes you faster by at least 1 sec.
-Should I learn new f2l algs to replace those I know intuitively?
Look for F2L cases that take you longer to do and learn algs for those specific cases.
-Should I learn full OLL?
If you want to/feel ready to learn it.
-What should I do to get to cross in 2look OLL when I have no edges oriented?
I usually do either (FRUR'U'F')2 then cube rotation, FRUR'U'F'. Other times I just do r U R' U R U2 r' twice or try to avoid it during F2L. It seems better to just learn an easy OLL that orients 4 edges.
-Do you have any N perms that don't suck ballz?
1 really good N perm
Alg from faz' video: R U R' U J-perm(corner switch on right, edge switch on UF and UR) U' R U' R'

always try to do it on D (however, i'm maybe not the right person to say that, because i do it on left :p)

Should I learn new f2l algs to replace those I know intuitively?

only if you are really bad at a particular case. in general: no

Should I learn full OLL?

you could if you want to, it's probably more useful than knowing several algorithms for the same plls

What should I do to get to cross in 2look OLL when I have no edges oriented?

F(RUR'U') S (RUR'U')f' isn't so bad.

Do you have any N perms that don't suck ballz?

Na: R U R' U (R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R') U2 R U' R'
between brackets is Ja, pretty fast alg
Nb: not really, i use R' U L' U2 R U' L R' U L' U2 R U' L U and i'm really bad at it

In what order should I work all the questions on top?

i'd start with cross on D, and then slowly start learning oll

how do you edit signature?

at the top on the screen, just below 'what's new', there's a button 'forum actions', click on 'edit profile', and then on the left (? not sure) click 'edit signature'

(basically what yuxuibbs said ;))

yes
yes
yes

if you want to win in competitions, learn everything you need to know.
14sec and above doesn't win anymore in most competition.

IMO, it doesn't matter which order you should learn.
