What should I focus on specifically?

Your Last Layer needs to be faster.
You should be able to solve the last layer in around 5-7 seconds, even with 2-look OLL and full PLL.
Drilling a couple of PLLs would certainly not hurt.

Practice cross cases that only have one edge oriented after the scramble. But cross is ok for your average.
F2L is something you need to work on to get sub 25. You should be able to easily save 3-5 seconds by looking ahead at your average (I jumped from a 30 second average to a 26 sec average in one day by looking ahead).
Try to brush off a little time for OLL and PLL execution, and PLL recognition, to get your LL to 9 seconds.

So I should try and drop a second of my LL and then 2-3 off F2L? which would bring my average down to sub-30. I'm doing an Ao100 now and I think it'll end up right around 31.5

I did a couple of averages of 5 with colour neutral, just white cross and Opposite colour neutral. Here's the scrambles

I wasn't aware that there was intuitive VHF2L I though it was just 32 algs to learn but I also used to that about F2L. I'll search for some tutorials. Thanks, does anybody else have suggestions?

If you really want to learn VH, go straight to the source, Dan Harris's site, www.cubestation.co.uk. However, I think this may be a little advanced at your stage, so I would really recommend sticking with straight Fridrich, and practice the hell out of your cross + 1st pair transition, as this is where I too, have most problems, and the rest of F2L. What I do sometimes, is just strictly do the F2L, without doing LL, just to focus on that. I have some walkthrough solves, on my you tube channel, you can watch just to get an idea of how I would do the cross. I think the cross is my strongest point. My LL is near flawless, but not perfect. I can do every alg in 3 sec or less though. Anyway, my channel is Xxoxia if you want to take a look. I only average around 20 seconds at the moment, so I'm trying to break the consistent sub 20 barrier. Just stick with Fridrich.

A flawless LL would be something similar to Feliks Zemdegs and his ability to LL w/o pause for recognition and transition, and sub1 OLL + sub1 PLL :P

Hahaha, that's a perfect LL. I just have a flawless LL, meaning, I know all the algs right away, and can perform them all within acceptable time. I do take a sec in between OLL and PLL.

Just finished an Ao100. Set new Ao5, Ao12, and Ao100 personal bests. Ao5:25.30 Ao12:26.45. Ao100:28.97

Thank you everyone for your help. I haven't used half you tips yet and I got my goal in just one day. I'm sure all this will help me get sub-20 faster.

Did you slow down? :P Also, for 2LOLL learn the really easy ones as well. We were discussing badmephisto's videos a bit, but remember when he said the easy T shape OLL (that's the EO alg F SM F')? Well the other T is just RUR'U' R'FRF'. The kite shape is the inverse of that alg (SH' SM', SH = sledgehammer). There are a lot of easy OLLs. There is also fat sune / anti sune, etc :P.

Yea I slowed it down and had a lot of 25-26 second solves. It was a good session. I'll check out the easier OLL cases since most of them are simple or just a combination of two other OLLs

Rpotts included some good ones. Don't forget about F SMSM F' (he included the f version), Sune + F SM F', Anti Sune + F SM F', etc. We could list all the easy OLLs to learn, but I suggest that you just look at the OLL wiki and take notes of which cases have easy to remember algorithms (this is gives you more easy cases too due to the fact that there are multiple algorithms for each case).

I suggest learning the 6 dot cases first (no edges oriented), unless you want to take after cincyaviation's idea and use partial edge control to prevent that, thus making it so you only need to learn 51 cases, not 57 (though you already know 9 of those cases, and after reading this thread should know at least 15 cases, but I could argue more since fat sune / anti sune = four cases alone :P)

Practice your F2L and try to get it down to about 10-12 seconds. Just solve the second layer over and over again, ignoring the last layer.

Also, what helps me with PLL is noticing patterns that can aid you when preforming algorithms without having to look around the whole cube. For example, for the U-Perm Clockwise, the side on the left has an opposite edge corresponding to its side. For the Counter-Clockwise algorithm, the opposite edge is on the right.
