I think someone in my school who averages 40 seconds do this method, because I can see its similarities.

Also is the type F DIY White cube any good because I'm expecting mine to come pretty soon.

CFOP (Cross, First two layers, OLL, PLL)

It's also called the Fridrich method. It's the fastest method right now and the easiest to learn and use.

Wow that was a nice solve then. I hardly recognized it because of how much he turned the left and up side. I'm still learning Fridrich right now though.

Petrus solves looks like random moves for a while, then really fast RU triggers, then LL. Roux method looks like random moves too, then a bunch of M slicing, Fridrich looks like 5 moves or so, then a crap load of L R and U.

I like Type F, but generally, people don't like it because it's not the best at cutting corners and is really light and cheap-feeling.
