Because I like the classic look of stickered cubes, I tend to buy both the stickered and stickerless versions of big cubes. Plus, I have some nostalgia for restickering puzzles and you get more customizablity on the shades of each color. Of course, I tend to only practice with the stickerless version. Although in some cases, the stickered version turns a tiny bit better than the stickerless in my experience.

Dude I know how you feel
I love stickered cubes, mostly white plastic ones

I think it's because of the nostalgia
But yeah stickerless are better to solve

As a colorblind cuber, I only use stickered cubes. Maybe it's changed in recent years, but stickerless cubes from like 2017 had the most difficult shades for me to tell apart. While the old Moyu shades were difficult for me as well, but at least I was able to put on darker shades and such.

What a coincidence, I just learned about color blindness in my biology class today. It’s cool that stickered cubes allow you to keep solving.

i used to lube cubes with graphite and take them into the pool, like in the water. thankfully this was in the mid 2010's when the best 3x3s were only around $15 or so, but unfortunately my aolong v2's hardware is still heavily rusted

I think after I left my amazon ordering phase (not the greatest), I made the mistake of ordering from speedcubestore.co.uk which you may know is infamous for its extremely long potential shipping times and questionable reputation as a legitimate store - the mgc5 took over 2 months to turn up...

oops. Well, if you are on a budget and prices are cheaper there... you gotta do what you gotta do. there's no other way to put it

Edit: Never mind, their prices are actually higher than SCS and The Cubicle. oops
