What IS a Type D cube?

You really don't need to worry about look ahead until you average around 30 sec. You can pretty much get faster without it until you get to around the 20's. It's good to get used to it though. It's hard.

Yeah, I know what you mean, lol. My average was around 40-45 seconds with the beginner method and my clunky Rubik's cube, so I bet I'll be able to get around to 30 with this new cube once I get used to it.

You will average a little bit worse then before because you are not use to the speed of the cube.

Hmm... My first speedcube was a guhong. But I used a storebought for so long before that. But that was because I couldn't get another cube, not because I'm 5BLD.

I got a Yj today and it is amazing(kinda) it is super smooth and fast and can cut about 45.
