I want to learn OLL algorithms but I don't want to learn all 57 of them, just the most common. What are the most common cases?

Don't only look at the frequency. Also look at the number of saved moves and the easiness of recognition.

As ThatGuy says, start with the 2 EO (FURU’R’F' and FRUR’U’F’) and 7 CO algs.

Then you can learn the 8 algs that flip all 4 edges. It will save you about 1 move per solve in average (2 of them are not that frequent but at least it makes the recognition very efficient)

Then you may want to learn the symmetrical of the 2 first EO you learned (B’U’R’URB and RUR’U’R’FRF') - that will save a few moves (about a quarter per solve in average)
