I'm curious because, for example, someone may use zz for 3x3 2h and something else for the 3x3 step of big cubes, or cfop for 2h and roux for oh

in my case I use cfop for everything

I used roux until quite recently I switched to CFOP because I didn't what to have to use multiple different methods for each event. I might consider switching back to roux for OH though but I would need to practice table abuse a lot. I actually average very similar times using ZZ, roux, CFOP and petrus because I was very indecisive and ended up just learning & practicing multiple methods at the same time although I don't feel confident using anything else besides CFOP for OH.

I use mainly CFOP for 2H and OH, and for some big cubes I use a mix of CFOP and beginners method, because I can't do some algorithms slowly on some big cubes.

I used to do CFOP/ZZ for OH but these days I'm pretty much CFOP-only for all three categories.

(Though by "CFOP" I really mean some hybrid of CFOP, Petrus and ZB, rather than "pure" CFOP.)

CFOP along with a bit of ZBLL for 3x3 (and sometimes for OH as well)
I don't have any big cubes besides 4x4 which I think isn't even considered a big cube but I use CFOP on that as well (for reducing to 3x3 I use Yau)
