What’s the best cube for use at school?

hmm, i might have to look into getting one. how’s the performance?
I think that the performance is definitely up there with the Tornado V3, and it works very well with many types of setups and is very adjustable. It's a bit pricey at $35-ish dollars, but I think it's better than the Tengyun V2 and V3 and stays quiet and low-pitched unlike the Tengyun V1, which gets louder over time.

when i get money ill either get one of those or a tengyun. also, assuming you have both which performs/feels better?

@jawklqnn the zyanchi is on liquidating sale at scs, I've bought one because I need a new travel cube, my current one is the tengyun in a few days I'll let you know how they compare :) and thanks bingus for the recom

when I have to go on campus for some in person classes (I'm mostly online) I bring my xman tornado v2 or my qiyi ms. the xman is known to be on par with tengyun stuff, but the qiyi ms just has a mellow clack. In terms of people stealing my cubes. People who can't solve it really have no interest in it.

*starts doing an oh solve*

I usually bring a stickered Qiyi Thunderclap to school just because It's cheap but I do want to get another Rs3M or something.
I do have a Dayan Tengyun but it is my main and I was thinking of getting the Tornado V3 so maybe might bring that to school?
The Tomato v3 is about as quiet as the Tengyun v1 but in sort of a different way...

@1x1 wr holder!

oh, ok thanks. the zhanchi on scs is the same price as the tengy on tc
Ok so i got it and i tried it. So my final comparison is that the zhanchi is overall better and more quiet. Tengyun is quieter when doing <2 tps, but zhanchi stays consistent no matter what tps you are turning at. Also, the reverse corner cutting is a LOT less loud.

I also find the Xman Tomato v3 to be quite quiet throughout pretty much all my solves on it, even when drilling algs when working on speed + fingertricks ☑️

Also, Basilio Noris says TV2 is still the best quiet cube. I've bought one and hopefully I can review it soon (coming from EU)
