WE NEED NEW METHODS

First of all, stop hating on the person who created this post, as they don't deserve it and most or all of the people who have done that have not brought in any new ideas. Second of all, if there were to be a new method, it would have to have not too many algorithms, it would have to save moves, and it would have to be TPS friendly. Also, there's a likely possibility that the new method isn't related to CFOP and Roux, as there have been hundreds of subsets of CFOP and Roux and very few of them tend to be faster. (For CFOP, there are some better alternatives such as ZB, but they are very hard to learn and the algorithm count can cause you to screw up a lot.) Maybe something similar to DR could replace CFOP and Roux because god's number for the DR method used in FMC is 30, however it is terrible for lookahead. Another possibility is some E layer method, but if there were to be it would have to have a lot of algorithms to be viable. I don't think a new method will take over for a while, as the methods that are theoretically better have far too many algorithms, however maybe I'll be proven wrong.

I got a 37.9 second solve with beginners method (the one that is like oversimplified CFOP) also I have a different version of f2l that uses righty algorithms and lefty algorithms only.
Sounds good.

You can try out my method of solving the cube which involves 5-cycles.

It is called 5-style method and the algset is UF5 for 3x3 edges.
