WCA Should Add 1x1 As An Official Event

In my opinion, it is too easy to get times down. I am the 1x1 WR holder, with a time of 0.00 seconds

Ive also heard of a method when you start the timer, search 1x1 algorithms and do the algs there 2 times, go outside and dunk the 1x1 in water, put it in your mouth and spit it on your dog, wipe it with paper towel, watch a 1x1 video, solve a 2x2 solve a 3x3 solve a pyraminx, do the floss for 10 seconds, find another rubiks cube and throw it, drop another 1x1 on your 1x1, and then stop the timer.

i did all of that in 8:55.79 Minutes. Beat the record by 4 seconds

WCA should definitely add 1x1 as an official event, because it is beginner friendly and can get new people into cubing.
1x1 solves also don't depend on hardware as much as other cubes, so a beginner can use any 1x1 to do the event without having to spend money. This would be great because most people won't spend money on something they don't know that they will enjoy/use much, and 1x1 cubes are fairly cheap and you don't have to pay a lot of money to get a very good cube to be able to participate at world-class level.

I now own a 1x1
My first solve (after JPerm's tutorial):

I got yellow to the bottom but throwing the cube at the table misaligned it, so it was a DNF (there are no misalignment +2s in 1x1)
Anyone got any ideas on how to stop it from turning after throwing it at the table? Maybe a stable lube will help
ChatGPT suggested that I throw the cube at the table in such a way that all the sides make contact with the table simultaneously, unfortunately I don't own one of those expensive 4-Dimensional 1x1s, so that's not possible.
