What was "full on beast mode" and how do you know it was because he wasn’t number 1?

well I may have exaggerated “full beast mode”, but what I was mainly referring the clear video evidence where Yiheng’s mom was scolding Yiheng for doing poorly during competition. There’s been also many instances where people have reported seeing Yiheng getting scolded IN PUBLIC. After a pyraminx round at the Philippine Championship 2024, Yiheng got grabbed by the wrist by his mom and they just walked to who knows where. She didn’t look happy though, and neither did Yiheng.

Where can I see that? Surely you're not referring to that Reddit video? I've seen that one, but my interpretation is that Yiheng was somehow unruly, she held him back (by his arm) and I guess told him to stop it, but he didn't listen so he got a little slap and she pointed to the floor, I guess accompanied by telling him to sit down. Nowhere in that video (or in the Reddit thread) did I see any evidence that she did that because he wasn't solving fast.

well, according to STU on the time stamp, he said Yiheng wasn’t performing how she wanted to, but I’m not sure since I can’t find the actual video on Reddit

Yeah I haven't yet encountered a stucube video in which he didn't say some **** that made me downvote it.
