way to loosen eastsheen 2x2?

I just got my eastsheen a2f 2x2x2 from cube4you and I can't be happier with how smoothly it turns out of the box but it's absolutely terrible for cutting corners. I've read in the cube comparison thread that it gets better with time but is there something I can do to make that happen faster? I was thinking maybe wedge some butter knives between the layers and let it sit overnight but I'm afraid I'll break it.

Unfortunately, you got the ES A2F, so I can't really help you. It's built closer together, so that might affect the ability to cut corners.

Just play with it a lot. However, I can still probably do sub-6 average with your cube and a bit of lubricant.

How do you even go about lubricating it? Some spray and a cloth?

well... I can disassemble mine and 'm planning to add vaseline(I know it sucks for lubricating but it's the only one I have access)to the mechanism
