So what do you do to warm up? I find warm ups necessary, or my averages start off disappointing.:D I do 6x RUR'U' and then R'U'RU followed by one solve. Once in a while I'll do a 21 PLL execution instead.:)

Meh, just now, I was gonna warm-up by doing an average of slow-turning solves before doing a "real" average, but ended up doing an average of 50 slow-turning solves instead. =/

On 3x3x3 I really don't need much warmup. Maybe 5 solves. On 4x4x4 I need about a full average of 12 before I get in the groove of looking ahead.

-I do a whole lot of U turns.
-Then some fingertricks.
-One or two solves.

If I don't do the above, my times will be 5-8 seconds off of a normal solve.

for some reason i do better in cold environments on my first couple solves... weird huh!

I do 50 reps on those hand grip thingies for both hands. between solves i use a stress ball to keep my hands and fingers ready at all times. I don't actually solve a cube until 5 minutes before I have to
