Want to get under Sub 20

800th post O_o

Yet your posts per day are still above 8.

Depends on how soon you want sub-20. I want to be sub 20 consistantly by February 6th & I plan on at least an AO50 a day AO100 on weekends. The trick is to actually be trying to get better at something when your practicing, like not having any pauses in F2L.

A) You're at 7, so you really don't have much to complain about here.
B) Average of 100 every day should get one from infinite to 20 in less than a year, I'd suppose. I think averages of 100 every day could get someone from 30 to 20 in ~5months, if they practiced right.

Well, first think about what algorithms you know. Don't know full PLL? LEARN IT. Don't know 2-look OLL? LEARN IT. Now, I'm not saying you have to, but those two help beyond belief in the consistency department. For example, when I knew all the PLLs but the Gs (17/21), whenever I got any of those cases it could still hurt my time. Also, practice A LOT. I can't really give you a number, but do how many solves you feel comfortable doing in a day. If you're really committed, do them as much as you can (don't give up your life for it, though). Considering F2L is the bulk of the solve, that's where practicing comes into play (and also LL recognition). Hope this helps!

Curious. Do the sub-20 people use intuitive F2L and just do it really quickly? Or do they have other methods?
