TL;DR - Got bored one day and decided to replicate the csTimer virtual cube on Scratch!
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/850195663/
Before you click on the project, you'll just see a 5x6 grid of random squares of colours that seem to change randomly when you press on the keyboard. So, how the heck is this supposed to work??
Here's how the Rubik's Cube is simplified: (sorry for the bad mspaint drawings)
See it yet? The 9 white squares make up the top side, the 9 green squares make up the front side, and the 6 (5) other side squares are for the orange and red stickers that touch the top or front side. I pretty much used this (and also Tao Yu's trainer here) as references, and once you get used to the controls, you'll get used to how the cube looks.
The keyboard controls are basically the same as the csTimer controls - here's a diagram:
It's really not that hard to memorize, just consider this:
Otherwise, feel free to mess around and drill some algs! Have fun with the project

It's really not that hard to memorize, just consider this:
- Middle fingers control the L and R sides
- Indexes do U' / U and F' / F, just like on a normal cube
- Ring fingers do D / D', B / B' and M' moves, just like on a normal cube
- Pinkies rotate the cube
- Everything else (wide moves, x / x' and z' / z rotations) just have to be memorized
Otherwise, feel free to mess around and drill some algs! Have fun with the project
