Thats because you never modded or broke them in.

I think that if I spend as much money on a puzzle such as the amount the v-cubes are priced (I bought my v-cube 7 for $90.74 with shipping on September 14, 2008), it should already be good without modding. I am not giving discredit to those who don't mind modding, but just by having to mod to have a decent cube when a lot of money is spent on a puzzle is unacceptable to me, personally. The v-cube company should redesign their cubes to match the mods people have come up with. Durability of the puzzles would be lessened, obviously, but I think it would give the company more business. And why not they sell a modded version and the original. They already sell 7 versions of the v-cube 7 anyway! (Maybe more if I missed some)

+1 Especially on V cube 6. They need to just release with adjustable cores as well. There is quite literally no reason not to. It's the weak point of most V cubes and is responsible for the ridiculous breaking in time that they have.

I'm actually tempted to buy a v cube now. Though, I think I might be able to find a cheaper v cube on ebay...


And I did get excited for a new puzzle release there for a moment, but this is really great news for US cubers.
