Using (L)EG-1 instead of regular EG-1?

I was wondering if anyone does this. I finished learning CLL, and I want to learn EG-1. I think I would prefer to use (L)EG-1 just because that is where I always hold my bar, but I wanted to see if anyone else does that before I commit to learning the algs.

I personally think the algs for regular EG-1 are a lot better than the LEG algs. It might just be a personal preference, but most people use the regular algs.

I figured that would probably be one of the disadvantages.
