Not upcoming, but this is the cube I wanted to produce for a while. I doubt it's going anywhere and I'm moving onto a new stage of my life so here's a look at what it was gonna be!
It was a playful twist on the Gan/Valk design with plenty of very small fine-tuned details to absolutely max out the performance and fluidity while preserving high amounts of stability! Think of a cube with the square feeling of a valk but the cutting fluidity of a GAN. The design went down as far as to shift the weight into the corners for the most ideal amount of momentum. What do y'all think?

I admit I went on a wild goose chase for a previous model that was impossible to mass manufacture, but by then, I have basically exhausted my options when I made THIS design. I'm a lot more proud of this design, anyway because it reminds me heavily of the design I worked with other members on back in 2017.

Do I want to produce it still? Maybe. I don't know if I'll ever have the chance or who to contact tho lol.

you could maybe ask some members to 3D print it for you. Really cool design!

@1x1 wr holder! may be interested (corn cube lord)
I appreciate the recommendation lol. Unfortunately, I don't think fdm prints are the option (what my printers are). 3d printing would absolutely delete any unique feeling that cubes attempt to achieve. And what our friend @Sion was mentioning about shifting weight into the corners, this is unachievable with 3d printing. pieces generally have to be solid pieces, and the pattern on the internals would be unachievable. For reference, I have a 3d printed 3x3 that takes lots of inspiration from the valk 3 and my goodness it does not feel like a valk 3, and the performance is a fraction. I honestly would stay away from fdm 3d printing if the goal is to manifest some idea of what an injection molded cube would feel like. resin is definitely a considerable option i would say, not the sturdiest, but you should get a much better, more consistent prototype.

While this is true, I'd like to also point out that I have used FDM prints to test out general corner cutting and lockup detection. it is very valuable. Let's get in touch!

Good points there. while corner cutting suffers, it for sure hints that the final product will be better, and yes, lock ups are definitely able to be detected on 3D printed parts. I like that you are willing to work with it 👍. I’m quite busy with studies lately but feel free to DM me if you have any parts you want printed.
