I've had no problems with mine... I know nothing about Square-1.

In my Opinion and if I'm not Mistaken Its Gan's first time making a cube that doesn't have a similar concept to a 3x3x3 Cube (Mega is almost excluded but you have to do the Star and F2L) So I'm not that sure they will make such a great job on it. And if they try and put a GAN spin on it, it could not work out for the puzzle. But i could be wrong.
