remember when they released new "magnetic" 6×6 and 7×7
but they only had magnets in the corners ?!@#*!? ¯⁠\⁠(⁠°⁠_⁠o⁠)⁠/⁠¯
and (almost worse) they were pillowed

I did enjoy their Tank 8×8 tho...
not for speed, but good feel and color shades

I sure do. I made a video trashing them. EASILY the worst WCA puzzles released in the last 5 years.

I like the Tank 8x8, too. I magnetized one and it came out decent. I enjoy all of their older big cubes - the ones that are actually cubic in shape. They aren't necessarily fast but they have smooth turning and they're big. And I like BIG cubes. But, man, the sticker shades on them are something else.

Probably a vin3. A vin2 would be nice though, as we need more good 2x2s in the market

Does it only show the scramble image or does it actually generate the scramble? I feel like there would be many issues with this...

My guess is that the app would show the scramble and the timer would show the image of the scramble, but I feel like it would be useless for the most part if it worked that way.

Not sure if it's a different timer or not but there's video online of a similar-looking timer that displayed both scramble moves and a picture of the cube. Only works for certain puzzles though (2-5, a couple others).
