Thanks for the advice guys. It's a bit overwhelming coming back and seeing so many cubes on the market and the amount of new technology compared to back then.

I was looking into the RS3M V5 ball core because I was curious in trying a cube with all those new tech without breaking the bank on the top of the line stuff. But I have thought about the RS3M 2020 and GuHong Pro as well. Guess I'll continue to look at more reviews and recommendations before making a decision on which one to get.

In my eyes, the RS3M 2020 is not worth it with some of the new releases. Sure it is cheap and magnetic, but it takes a lot of work to make it good. There are also no real features to the cube other than the adjustment system. The GuHong Pro is an amazing cube, and I also recommend the WRM v9 20 Magnet BC. It may be expensive but its really good once you set it up.

Yeah RS3M v5 is goated as well. Just opened mine and it is SOOOOOO fast I can't even believe it.

I find the RS3M V5 to be "an cube". Nothing wrong with it, yet nothing weirdly distinctive. It's an cube, for all intents and purposes. It takes a bit of dialing in (my preferred setup is weight 5 on tracks, 5 drops of Mystic, 2 drops of Compound X, and 2 drops of DNM-37, loosened a lil bit and compression 4) but it performs to exactly what you desire it to.

The YuXin HunagLong 16x16 is an 'almost' cubic 16x16. What that means is that the overall shape is cubic (flat sides), but the corners and edges are rounded. at 115mm wide, it fits comfortably in larger hands, but may be a stretch for someone younger or smaller.

As for what new puzzles have come out, you should browse this forum and/or www.thecubicle.com to see what's new. Some new puzzles include several moyu 3x3s, big cubes and megas from other brands, and non-wca puzzles.

Sadly, most of the last several pages on this thread are avout puzzles that are already in stores
So when SS shows a new post on Upcoming Puzzles
I get a little excited, but then
I open the link and get disappointed
because it's not at all news about UPCOMING PUZZLES

I’m happy I got the Diansheng, because I’m now very fast and will have a sizable advantage on basically anyone in my state. That said, I’m definitely getting either this or the Qiyi FTO for Christmas when they release

Only their big cubes are hype, and their 2x2 is decent, but I wouldn’t even go for their 3x3s ever.
