49 grams is insanely light, the original meilong pyraminx was 67g, I reckon they are doing this so that the shipping weight is really low and anyone who wants loads of cheap pyraminxes has to choose these, I wonder if they will do the same soon with 3x3s

Even though most people hated the S#M series I kinda enjoyed the 3x3, and the 4x4 is alright with a good setup

I hate to nitpick, this looks great, but it would cost how much more to make this magnetic? The regular one already has a factory magnetized option, just go through with the process. (God, I sound like a Karen.)

The UV coated Diansheng Solar 4x4 and 5x5 are now out at cubezz. Pretty odd considering that the regular solar 5x5 never actually released as far as I know.

The new releases (4×4 & 5×5) are neither one of the same nice quality and build as the previously released S4M

Diansheng called it the "Solar System S4M"
but the two new releases are only called "Solar M" (4×4×4 and 5×5×5)

The good S4M has white or black internals and capped design pieces and a high glossy finish

The new brackish watered down 4x4 and 5x5 are the same split-piece design of their standard non-Solar puzzles... I have that 5x5 and it pretty much sucks... not even as good as the Meilong 5M

...kinda think I'll bet these two "Solar M" are sucky ones also
but with cheaper frosted plastic and UV

in a nutshell, DS still has not come up/come out with a
"Solar System S5M"

... is there hope???

Yeah def extra large. I'm hoping this is something they end up mass producing. I def prefer the larger size of the Yuhuv2, tho the pro is a decent size for me.

Also a side note: I saw where someone had their pro core break in half, so buyers beware! It's not the first time we've seen clear plastic cores break.

This is great - I've been wanting a quality oversized 2x2 for a long time. Now if only we could oversized versions of other puzzles. How about an 18cm pyraxminx? Or 15cm skewb?
