Hard to tell as GAN himself is actually quite good at square-1 at least at that time, but he can’t even solve a 4x4

The non-magnetic and magnetic versions have different colour shades, apparently: half-bright on the magnetic one (presumably, in line with Moyu's other modern magnetic big cubes) and bright on the non-magnetic one (maybe the same as their older cubes)

Thanka putting this update. Not at all a fan of the brighter blue and would probably still be buying one haha...
but now I feel a lot better about the (magnetic!) cube ⁽⁠⁽⁠ଘ⁠(⁠ ⁠ˊ⁠ᵕ⁠ˋ⁠ ⁠)⁠ଓ⁠⁾⁠⁾

Yeah, Moyu and YJ both need a good clock.

The only SQ1 supposedly in the works is Gan, but they announced that almost 2 years ago and there hasn't been a word about it since. Gan did announce a 5x5 at the same time and there have at least been photos of prototypes of that.
