does a 32-magnet ball core really have a major impact on the times of a top cuber, or does it become a competition between cube companies to show off the fact that "we managed to stuff more magnets into our core than you guys"

I might get this cube just to see if it's worth it, because tbh I don't think it will be anything special for performance, just the latter of what you said.

Just what I needed and I got it. Out of the 3 Picube versions, I chose the Leap version, for it's lighter weight, matt surface and presumably more control from the use off Springs, instead of Maglev. So far so good, actually fantastic. Small, light, good performance, and turns effortlessly. It feels nearly as nice as my previous best (for me) cube, the Guhong Pro+ Maglev, but performs better. The Gohong has corner magnet adjustments; this V100 has a 20-magnet core plus edge repelling magnets, and it is still 65g. . It's near perfect for those with smaller hands, weaker fingers. I am not sure how it can be improved. Maybe some Titanium screws? . I am really hoping Gan will make a V100 AI version and Picube do its magic again with that.

(Tip. In this and many other YouTube video, there is cogwheel inside the frame and it lets you change the audio to English.)

Starts from about 9:30 min into the video. Tip. Set audio to English and/or turn on the Caption and set that to English. At about 13min, he mentioned ball-core, but there is no ball-core. The extra 12 tiny magnets are glued in between the bigger 8 original core magnets.

Waste of money lol. I'm never getting this. GAN does this every time, and really, it's annoying me. Who is gonna pay extra just to get a pink cube?!
