Hey Guys.
Lets do this thing called "Track your timed solves 2015". Basically what you do is set a target and when you achieve it, you save the times (and scrambles if you can)somewhere and then keep on doing it till the end of the year 2015. Then, in the end of the year, you will know how many time have you solved your cube timed (also how many untimed solves, if you are keeping track of it. I am not). How much you have improved, what was your best AO5/AO12/AO50/AO100/AO1000 then your PB and every statistic of you. If you didnt understand what I am saying, here is an example.
I started tracking my solved times from end of 1st week of Jan. Here is my track of my times till now. As you see I have done around 7500 solves and have gotten a PB of 8.7x and other statistics. For me, the target was 2500 solves. After compleating 2500 solves, I would save the times and scrambles and then again save my times after 2500 solves. You can do it for multiple events like 2x2-7x7, skewb pyraminx etc.

This would be fun, and you can also see how many solves sub 10 people do in a year, how many solves sub 15 people do, sub 20 and so on. Share your links and lets start tracking :)
So, what do you guys think about it?

Why do you have to wait for 2500 solves before saving them? Can't you just save them after you finish a session or something?

Also, Prisma saves all your times/scrambles for you, so you don't have to make 123 page word documents.

Thats why I had set your target. 2500 is just my target :P Also, I dont use Prisma as it give MO100 while I want AVGO100. You can use qqtimer for just times. 2500 solves takes onlyhalf of page :)

What do you mean by 'target'? I don't understand what the point of any of this is.

And what do you mean, 2500 solves only takes half a page? Did you look at your document you linked to in the OP? It takes four and a half pages just to list the times, then after you've included the scrambles for all 7500 solves, it's well over 100 pages.

I already do this, more or less... I just use Prisma on both my laptop and PC, and an app on my phone. Every now and then, I copy the history from all three of them and paste them into a spreadsheet. Then I format them uniformly, sort by date to combine them all, and then work out averages of 5, 12, 50, 100 and 1000, and work out distributions for both solves and averages. Then I plot graphs showing my progress.

Also, a spreadsheet is much better than a 100+ page document.

I also don't see why you'd do this when prisma timer has actual graph statistics and keeps all your times and scrambles anyway.
What if I dont use Prisma Timer?

Spreadsheet is the way to go them Thanks for that :)
