Slow down a bit. No pauses or spamming U moves to find your pairs is what you want.

Work on your cross.
Do it on D face. Plan entire cross during inspection. Take as much time as you need to plan the whole thing so don't worry if it takes a lot longer than 15 seconds. Practice executing it without looking. Aim for 8 moves max.

Someone fast, maybe even fazt, made a YouTube vid about how aspiring CN solvers should choose their cross colour. I'm mobile or I'd link it.

But yeah, cross could be much better considering you have 6 colours to choose from. Also slow solves will help with f2l pauses.

thank you both! I will work on that stuff! Oh yea - my recognition was off because I just got that cube earlier the day I made the video (it is a Fangshi Shuangren v2 57 mm). I used to use a stickerless Dyan Zanchi.

Sorry. Learn to do double-flick. And work on eliminating pauses. I mean between pairs and also between turns. Try to be smoother flowing from one turn to the next. You tend to have short bursts of a few moves each or something. Cross could use work as it's kind of slow I think.

I think the point was that it's hard to tell you what to improve or work on if you post a single solve that is quite good for you. Much easier if you posted a 19 second ao12 or something.

I know I cover the timer and the cube for most of the video, but I'm guessing you can still make out a bit.

I can see the obvious problems here, slow F2L recognition, my T-perm took ages to notice. Any other things?

Hey guys - decided to do an avg of 12...

Try to turn slower and more smoothly/less violently. Work on looking ahead and recognition, both of F2L pairs and LL algs. Do slow solves where you turn slowly enough that you never pause, then slowly raise your TPS. At this point turning fast just makes it harder for you to look ahead.
