I don't have the ability to film solves at the moment, but I don't think my question is directly related to seeing solves. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get better at consistency? For instance, here is an Ao5 that describes what I'm talking about: (25.44), 19.26, 17.88, 20.02, (17.23). 15/16/17 solves are pretty common when I'm solving, but so are the 22/23 solves. Sometimes I can get an Ao100 in 18.xx, yet other times I will get an Ao12 that is 22.xx. The main problem is that I can't really identify what makes my slow solves slow, most of my 23 solves feel the same as my 17 solves. Thanks for any suggestions,
Do you know full OLL/PLL? Or at least full PLL and 2 look OLL? Do you sometimes lose the ability to look ahead or have really bad crosses? Do you have lots of pauses during F2L? Really can be almost anything but most of the time, consistency is because of F2L look ahead or doing cross wrong or something.
Try to pay attention to what you're doing in your 22.xx solves that you aren't doing in your 17.xx solves or what you aren't doing in your 22.xx solves that you are doing in your 17.xx solves.
Or you can try doing cross + F2L only averages and LL only averages and see which one is least consistent and try to make it more consistent.
It really will help to see a video of your solves with both good and bad solves so it's easier to see how you can be more consistent in your solves. We can only guess based on what most people have trouble on in their solves in that time range without a video.
