Anyone else have a snake, or Rubik's Twist? One of my friends' got me one last month, and they are pretty neat.

I had one 20 years ago, but I don't have one now anymore. I think I am too old for it now.
Haha, too old? What is the age limit? We have 75+ year olds still cubing...

I don't feel to old for cubing, I feel to old for the Snake. Somehow I find this to be a "kids-only"-puzzle. I checked with my niece (16) and nephew (13), both of which can solve the cube. My niece thinks it's a kids-toy to, but my nephew likes it.
I think it's a lot of fun, both for making shapes with and speedsolving. I don't think I would have the patience to try to get fast at it (exactly the same thing each time), but it's fun for awhile and the much more interesting part is in the shapes you can make. It's certainly more accessible for children than, for example, the cube, but I don't think that makes it only for kids.
I agree with Arakron completely. Speedsolving it into a ball seems fun, but I'm not sure if I want to invest my time into that, unless it becomes an official event of course. However, Johannes doing it in 2 seconds is quite amazing.

I agree to, just like the magics. Speedsolving it a couple of times would be fun, but I wouldn't spend time "training" it. Making different shapes is the more interesting thing, but that appeals more to kids than it does to me now.
