The G Permutations...UGH!

I Figure I should learn the G permutations next, since I only know all edge and corner perms(i do edges then corners). Can someone help me!?!?
I know this much,

Theres 4 G-perms, 2 of which are mirrors.
theres always gonna be a 2x1x1 block when doing G-perms.
and heres look at the edges in all of them, on 2 of them the edges to the left, are already permed and in right place..

When I get a G-perm, I look for which side the 2x1x1 block is and the which 3-cycle of edges it is.

Yep, that's exactly the approach I use.

I place the 2 corners that have the same color (not your last layer color, of course ) in the left, then I look where the 2x1x1 block is

I do the same as Pedro, it works very well.
if the block is across from the corners it is very easy to tell before you put the corners on the left and I start the alg from whatever angle the block is at when i notice.
