Tanmay's cubing progression

Hi everyone! As suggested by SpeedCubingLord, I'm making this progression thread to be able to look at and share my progress over time.

• Feb 24, 2026: First solved a Rubik's cube with the Beginner's Method
• Feb 28, 2026: Started learning F2L
• Mar 1, 2026: First sub 2 minute solve with F2L, at 1 minute and 56 seconds!
• Mar 7, 2026: Been practicing 2 look OLL, fastest solve yet is 1 minute 33 seconds!

If there's any advice you wish you knew as a beginner, please feel free to share, as I started quite recently. Thanks for the help!

Yes! 2 look OLL has significantly improved my time

Thank you! I've got the hang of most of those algorithms, E-perm is a little tricky to remember.
