sub-25 & sub-15 estim

until this time i write this post. i dont know anything about x-cross. can someone tell me ?

it's where when you solve a cross you solve an f2l pair at the same time

if when i'm cubing today and i come across an xcross scramble then i'll post back hre. it is very confusing at first especially to beginner block builders..but once you realize how to do it it's a nifty trick to finish an f2ll pair upon doing cross

not every scramble you do should have an xcross (or a feasible one to do)
it's just something that if you notice it, you should take advantage of it :)

R2 U2 F' D L2 D' F2 D U' R B2 U B R' D F2 L B L' B R F2 R U' D2
for white cross (if you do that) scramble with yellow top green front
upon inspecting i notice this is a very easy scramble. in the UFR corner and the FR edge i see it's a pair there. but alas! blue edge. i notice that an F2 would place the f2l pair in there but with the blue cross peice wher it's supposed to be. i notice that i can just misplace the blue/green cross peice an dthen just M2 U2 M2 the blue/green out.

First i do a D' to align the orange, L to align the red.now an F2 to align the xcross and the f2l pair
y rotation and put the final cross peice in. M2 U2 M2 the blue/green cross peice to swap them. Xcross is done!
very easy sc ramble..there is an f2l pair preserved..and do that..rest of the solve etc..

next

last scramble: R2 L D' B' R2 U L U2 L U2 L2 D2 B2 F D2 U' F U L' F' R L B L2 B
Cross on U.

x2 y2 U' D F R' F R F' D'
double xcross.
do that one time to see what gets xcrossed.

scramble it up again..now actually watch the corner/edge (of 1 xcross pair) to see how it gets xcrossed.

then scramble it up again and look at the other pair and see how that gets xcrossed

Well, it depends how much you practice.
In about 1 or two days, I dropped from 26 ish to 23 ish average by practicing lookahead for a while.
