Sub 20 Barrier help

This is my first post on the forums...so my question/statement is, im stuck at 22 sec. averages. Since its summer I practice at least 5 hours a day. I know full pll and 17 olls. i get under twenty ever OTHER now and then if i see everything PERFECTLY in f2l. I'm using a diansheng cube also.i did an average of 12 for each step in the cfop (fridrich) method.

F2l with cross already:9 sec.
cross w/f2l:13 sec.
cross:3 sec
pll:2 sec.
whole cube:22 SEC.

I try and use a metronome to look ahead but its hard to me. my style is like do f2l at my speed and when i can look ahead. Kinda like fast whit pauses??? I only been cubing for 5 months though. So.. Should I change my style or look ahead more work on LL? I dont know how to break this barrier:(. So can you help/teach me how to break it and if you where in this situation how you would break it PLEASE. Soon i will be averaging sub 20 then hopefully sub 15 by the time im 20. But i need you guys help to get me there.
Thank You. ;)

It doesn't matter what his average is. Only because his average is worse does not mean that he don't know how to improve.

Means try to reduce the amount of moves you do during the F2L stage. And a 5s LL is very good. I have a 5s LL. Just focus on your F2L. It is the most important stage. Try to slow down to look ahead. With 3-LLL it would usually take around 73(?) moves at max so you would only need a 4tps to average 18 seconds.

Another note is that you will face barriers that will be harder to pass as you progress. I'm stuck at 13s for maybe 5 months now.

Note: I mean F2L with cross included.

Videos are always helpful.
anyway, try to look ahead. It's hard, I know, but it's the only way you'll get better. I know because I just passed the sub-20 barrier. Try to do F2L with as few cube rotations, meaning that unless there's a really easy pair, handle the oriented edges BEFORE the oriented ones. Make sure your F2L (includes cross) is efficient, meaning like 35 moves maximum.

@ Ethan Rosen - Why do you not believe byu?

So you average sub 20??? If so good job.. i only do cube rotations if im putting in apair from the BL position and F faces position which i get that alot any way tp resolve the matter??
