It's a shame that I practice with my best one in public because that's the only time people are inclined to want to steal it :-/

If it were a $10 cheapy that doesn't have springs I'd probably let them have it but not my best cube :-@ thems grounds for fighting!

I kid popped my rubik's cube in study hall when I was in the computer lab, I left my backpack there. They must have went in it. They stole a piece too, so I have a rubik's cube with one missing cubie...

I left a cube in a classroom by accident last year, and someone took it. I found out how it was and attempted to get it back, but they said that they "lost" it. It was my limited edition white rubik's DIY and I considered it my best cube. Really ****ed off they lost it.

Well, I haven't really experienced any actual stealing. People just like to mess with me and hide it or take it and mess with it.

someone left their stackmat at Caltech fall last weekend, I found it and turned it into tyson, the name on the stackmat is Carlos, if you know Carlos, or you are Carlos, contact tyson or CCC for you stackmat timer.

They know better not to steal it from me, unless they're willing to sleep with one eye open. *evil laugh*

Haha, nah, just kiddin. I've never had anyone try to steal it, I don't even think most people would want to, the stickers are peeling off and junk so it looks pretty bad, lol.

People want to take my cubes at school because they want to play with it. Once they pop it (within 2 minutes), they come running back saying how I should get a new cube since mines is "broken" into 5+ pieces. I stopped bringing my cube to public places now, so I have no incident with a lost cube. I'll get too tempted at school anyway.

They never tried that with me.

I allways bring 1 cube with me in public and it's allways a store bought cube.

I do the same but this store bought cube so happens to be my best cube :-(

I like my DIY cubes but I've never used them enough to break them in. I guess this is the only situation where store bought cubes can cut corners better than DIY cubes :-P

Tim.
