stackmat timer problem

hello everyone
i am a newbie from RubikVN forum ( rubikvn.org ) and i have some problem with my stackmat timer
i bought it yesterday and it function normally but when i connect it to the computer and i spot that when i plug it to my computer with CCT 0.9.5 problem appear
Normally the light won go red until you put both of your hand on the pads but when i plug it to my computer the red light flashing and turn red although i didn't put my hands on the pads and the timer didn't function, it only shows 0.02 and 0.03
The CCT is shows exact the time on the timer (always 0.02 and 0.03)
The problem above is only happen when i plug the timer into the microphone jack of my computer, when unplug the timer works normally

i hope you guys have some ways to fix this problem because the timer cost me a lot (30$)
p/s:because i am vietnamese so i may have many grammar falses above so forgive me (i am only a grade 8 student)

Even though it does this, are you still able to reset the timer, and then use it normally?

I don't use CCT, but I have downloaded it (don't know why). Try File -> Configuration -> 4 Stackmat Settings. Try messing with some of the settings there.

What is the length of your cable? If you touch the cable is there any progress? I think, that your timer is OK because it works without the cable... So, based on my Electronics experience, I think that the problem is in the connection.
