Here is a list of words commonly used in relation to speed cubing. Words and there definitions you post, will be added to this main post, so every post helps
.
?0-9
◦ 3-Cycle:
A common blindfold method used by popular cubers such as Shotaro "Macky" Makisumi.
?A
◦ Algorithm:
A sequence of face turns which can change the state of the cube, or help towards solving the cube.
◦AsR:
Asian record.
?B
◦BLD:
Blindfold solving, or blindfold cubing.
◦ Blindfold Cubing:
After an inspection the cube is solved while blindfolded. Also referred to as "blindfold solving."
?C
◦ Cage method:
The method Per Kristen Fredlund uses to solve bigger cubes. Make a 'cage' and solve the centers last.
◦ Center piece:
A piece of the Rubik's Cube located in the center of each face. They don't move in relation to one another.
◦ CE-Pair:
A corner and edge. 4 pairs solve the F2L
◦ CFOP:
Cross, F2L, OLL, PLL; in order, the steps under the Fridrich system. It has been proven that this system can be used to solve a cube in around 56 moves. It is the most popular among speedcubers.
◦ CLL:
Corners last layer. First step of Guus Razoux-Schultz' method. Fix all corners of the last layer in one algorithm.
◦ Corner piece:
A piece of the Rubik's Cube located at each at each of the eight corners of the cube.
◦ Cubie:
The Individual cubes which make up the Rubik's Cube, and many other puzzles. There are twenty movable cubies on a 3x3x3. The center pieces are not cubies.
?D
◦ Deep-cut:
A deep-cut puzzle is a puzzle which when turned will effect every side.
◦ DNF:
Did not finish.
◦ DNS:
Did not start.
?E
◦ EC:
European championship.
◦ Edge cubie:
The piece of the 3x3x3 cube that is located between the corner pieces. There are twelve edge cubies on the 3x3x3 cube.
◦ ELL:
Corners last layer. Last step of Guus Razoux-Schultz' method. Fix all the edges of the last layer in one algorithm.
◦ ER:
European record.
?F
◦ F2L:
First 2 Layers.
◦ Fewest Moves Contest(or FMC):
A moderately popular version of cubing the requires the solver to complete the cube in as few steps as possible. Many have been able to solve the Rubik's Cube in around 28 moves- though this requires a longer solve time than in speedcubing so that the user may assess the best moves to compete the cube.
◦ Fridrich, Jessica:
The creator of the speedcubing method used by many speedcubers today. Also see CFOP.

?J
?K
?L
◦ LL:
Last Layer.
◦ Lucky:
A solve in which one or more steps, usually performed, are skipped.
?M
◦ Marc Waterman:
The creator of an advanced "corners-first" system used by a few cubers, but not as popular as Fridrich's method. It has been proven that this is a fast method, however, and requires around 90 algorithms.
◦ Minx:
Megaminx.
?N
◦ NR:
National record.
?O
◦ OLL-skip:
When the last layer is already orientated after the F2L.
?P
◦ Petrus, Lars:
Lars Petrus designed his system to have freedom of movement. Many cubers have found that the moves they do are very restrictive in that every time they build something, the next step requires them to do something that needs to destroy and then rebuild what they have already done. Also, this system is commonly used in fewest moves contests.
◦ PLL-skip:
When the Last layer is already good after orienting the last layer cubies.
◦ POP:
While during a speedsolve one or more pieces come out.
?Q
?R
◦ Rubik, Erno:
A Hungarian architect who invented the Rubik's Cube, a six colored, three dimensional puzzle that can be rearranged in only one correct way, but over forty-three quintillion wrong ways.
◦ Roux, Gilles:
The French creator of the Roux system which builds two adjacent blocks as the first steps. It requires the knowledge of only 28 algorithms and has been proven as a legitimate speedcubing system.
?S
◦ Skip:
The next step you want to do is already done.
◦ Slot:
The place in which a specified cubie belongs.
?T
?U
◦ UWR:
Unofficial World Record.
?V
?W
◦ WCA:
World Cube Association.
◦ WR:
World record.
?X
?Y
?Z
◦ Zbignew-Bruchem(or ZB):
A speedcubing system developed by Zbignew Zborowski and Ron van Bruchem. It requires the knowledge of more than 500 algorithms and can be used to complete the cube in three steps.
