Cool, that's what I use too, even though I started not too Long ago. Any tips for audio memo for edges?
Honestly the first thing I think of has to do more with corners. I'd make sure to make your words/stories for corners super memorable, because if you use CEEC order you can execute edges right after you memorize them. So just make sure you memorize your edge letter pairs effectively, like I tend to use either short words or I just do memorable sounds or repeat ones that I do in every solve. So focus on your edge memo once you're done memorizing and then execute that, and when your corner exec comes up then you can bring those letters to the front of your mind and remember them well because of how memorable you made them.

But like for example VQ for edges would be VaST for me (since I swap ST for Q). Or HJ would be hike (since I swap K for J in some circumstances). Or WN would be WiN. So I memo "the VaSt HiKe WiNs". It doesn't make sense, but actual words make it easier to memo. Also there's obviously going to be more words but just an example.

I'm sorry if that doesn't help or makes no sense

Thanks! I noticed I seem to use more audio than full images for corners so I need to work on that. Thanks again.

Faster than what I average for skewb (like 16-18) lol

lol, but the fact that this is a good average for me 😭 If I get an H or Z perm I'm always screwed because I have to do sledge (or hedge, idk which one lmao) like 4 times or smthn, and then I screw up the first layer like every 1 in 3 solves
I know the h perm and z perm algs and the rest of SI. The thing is that I'm so bad at executing z and h perm that it might be faster for me to do it normally. My problem is just practice, I'm sure I could get faster if I spent some time on it but I've only done like 75 solves total. Skewb is also in my comp in 2 weeks so I should probably put a bit more work into it.

Yeah I only use the beginner's method, I also have a comp in like a month with skewb so I might actually practice at some point. Good luck practicing skewb lol

I should really be doing other events that I will compete in: 4x4, 2x2, skewb, sq1. For 4x4 I'm quite bad, average 14 on 3x3 but 1:25 on 4x4, 2x2 I need to practice a bit more of some new pbl algs I learned, skewb I need to get better with SI, and sq1 I still need to learn how to solve. But for some reason I just keep on practicing pyra. I've probably spent like 15 hrs on pyra in the last 2 weeks to maybe make finals, but I'm still quite bad at pyra (average 9-10)

oof yeah skewb is the only event I don't like at my next comp so I practice everything besides it and keep forgetting that it's even an event in the comp. What method do you use for pyra?
