Some questions

I just wanted to post this to ask a couple of questions. First of all for someone who's been cubing a bit over a month and has an average of about 1:10 good? Also what can I do to get better at F2L?
I also used some stuff for lube in my rubik's brand rubik's cube and it contains mineral oil. Does that destroy the plastic or something? What else could I use for a DaYan GuHong that would work well

For already working on F2L, 1:10 is pretty food for a month. To get better at F2L, watch as many tutorials as you can even though you already know how to do it and watch a ton of example solve videos to see how other people do it. I don't know about mineral oil, but at your speed, you really shouldn't be concerned with lube. Just use your GuHong. If you really really want lube though, get Traxxas 30k differential oil and watch some tutorials on how to lube your cube.

Traxxas Oil can be bought on Amazon online. Local hobby shops may have it.
I recommend buying from http://thecubicle.us. Cheap and good.
